This is Monty, aka General Montgomery, the Yale Law School Library dog. Apparently not just an adorable mascot, Monty is a certified therapy dog who, under a current pilot program, can be "checked out" within the library by students for half-hour periods to relieve stress. News of this program comes right when I'm deliberating between Ivies... Coincidence? Or fate? Or just Yale librarians shrewdly enticing potential students with cute dog pictures? Whatever. Works for me.*L
